FairHomes values the trust you have placed in us and will continue to work to earn that trust. As part of our commitment to you, we are happy to explain our privacy policies and how we intend to protect your privacy as one of our customers or potential customers. You can be confident that we understand your concerns about the security of your personal information and have taken steps to ensure this information is protected.

In the process of doing business with FairHomes, information may be collected about you. Some of this information is considered non-public information. We will never sell any non-public information about our customers or potential customers or former customers to any outside company, individual, or service. When we must share this information with others, it will only be as permitted by law and only with contractual safeguards in place to protect the confidentiality of this information.

Under what circumstances would we share information?
FairHomes works with credit unions as well as other carefully selected business partners to offer their customers a wide variety of products and services. Once you become a member of the credit union with which we are affiliated, we may obtain information about the products and services you maintain with the Credit Union in order to serve you more efficiently and make it easier for you to conduct business with us. Likewise, we may share information with the Credit Union about the products and services you maintain with us.

Information we may collect about you and disclose to others.
We will only collect information from you that is necessary to conduct our business such as:

  • Information we receive from you on applications and other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliate or others, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage;
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and credit history;
  • Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms, such as from your current or past employers or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions;
  • Information we may obtain from consumer purchasing and census data providers to develop competitive marketing programs for our lessees.

Other parties who are allowed by law to receive information from us.
We may disclose non-public personal information about you to the following types of outside parties: Financial service providers, such as those that provide insurance; and Non-financial companies, such as consumer reporting agencies. In order that we may provide customers competitive products and services, we may disclose all of the above information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing or other services on our behalf and to other financial service providers with whom we have joint marketing agreements.

How we protect your information.
We restrict access to information about you to only those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your information.
